We're Tracking Who's On the Bench and Why!

This survey which began in July of 2001 was designed to give IT professionals more information about who's been laid off, what their skills or experience level might be, whether they've been replaced by H-1Bs, and how long it takes them to get a new job. Data is posted as contributed.

This survey is open to anyone who was paid in the past to perform an IT-related salaried job or consulting contract and is now out of work.

To participate, please fill in the fields below. When you submit your data, you will be assigned a tracking number. Save this number. It will let you update your record when you find a new job. That way we can collect information about how long it is taking IT professionals to find new assignments and how new assignments compare with old.

As always, your comments and private email address will be kept confidential. We DO NOT release this information to anyone, nor do we spam. Also, please note that the data in the "comments" field does not appear in the posted survey.
